About

Kate Stevenson has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor since 2001, upon graduation with a B.S. in Fitness and Exercise Science from Western Washington University.  She is a certified ACSM Health/ Fitness Instructor, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Polestar Pilates Instructor.

Kate teaches a variety of classes, including Ski Conditioning, Clubbell Yoga, Bosu, Power Pump, Mat Pilates, step aerobics, floor aerobics, stability ball, circuit training, and boot camp.  After receiving a Pilates certification through Polestar, Kate worked at Core Therapeutics; a Pilates studio and Physical Therapy clinic, providing private training on the Reformer, Trapeze table, Ladder Barrel, Chair, and mat.

In addition, Kate taught at WWU in the dance department instructing Modern and Ballet for 3 years.  Kate has been a dancer her entire life and danced with Bellingham Repertory Dance Company for 10 years.  In addition to dance, Kate is an avid runner and yoga lover.

Kate is the Program Manager in the Honors College at WWU.
