Membership Pricing

• Annual term memberships are valid from 9/27/2023 to 9/25/2024.
• Academic memberships are valid from 9/27/2023 to 6/14/2024 (faculty & staff only).
• Quarterly memberships are valid from the first day of the quarter until the the day before the next quarter begins.

Note: New membership rates listed above are valid at the start of Fall quarter 2023.

ID required at all times: A valid WWU ID card or Rec Center membership card is required by all members for entry into the Student Recreation Center. For new members who do not have a WWU ID card, a complimentary Rec Center membership card will be issued upon enrollment. Students who lose their WWU ID card will need to purchase a new card from the Western Card Office in order to access the facility.

WWU Students: Current students enrolled for at least six credits are already members!

Students not enrolled in classes (or enrolled for under 6 on-campus credits) who wish to use the Student Recreation Center may opt to have the Student Recreation Fee added to their account by completing the Student Fee Account Adjustment Acknowledgement form at the Rec Center front desk.

WWU Faculty & Staff: Current or retired WWU employees and those who perform a specific and related function for the university are eligible to purchase quarterly memberships to the Student Recreation Center.

WWU Alumni and President’s Society Members: Current WWU degreed Alumni Association members are eligible for membership.

Spouse, Dependents & Partners: Member eligible person must be present at time of signup.

This quarterly membership for current WWU faculty and staff includes access to the Student Recreation Center from Monday through Friday 6:00am-1:00pm (6:30am-1:00pm during summer quarter) and all hours on weekends. As part of the program the $60 membership rate will be reduced to $30 thanks to a $30 University match. Please note that all memberships are taxable.

Memberships can only be purchased on a quarterly basis at the Student Recreation Center. Members must exit the facility by 1:00pm on weekdays and entry after 12:40pm will not be permitted with this reduced hours membership.

WWU faculty, staff, alumni association members, and students enrolled with less than 6 credits may purchase a day pass to the Wade King Student Recreation Center. A valid WWU or affiliate ID card is required at the time of purchase. Day passes are only valid for entry into the facility on the day they are purchased and cost $9.00.
