Darcie Hill, MPH, RDN is a Bellingham native! After graduating from Bellingham High School (2005), she went to the University of Oregon to pursue her undergraduate degree in Human Physiology and play for the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team (2005-2009). Go Ducks!  Darcie went on to play with the Women's Professional Soccer Team, The Portland Thorns (2013).

Darcie has been an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer(ACSM CPT) since 2009. Along the way she has accumulated certifications as a Kettlebell, TRX, and Spin instructor. Darcie is also a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and has her Master’s in Public Health, specializing in Health Promotion & Health Behavior.

Health and wellness has always been a cornerstone for Darcie, from her long history as an athlete, personal trainer, and coach, to her more recent career in nutrition and public health. Darcie is passionate about physical activity, nutrition, and motivating people to create positive relationships with both of these things. Darcie is enthusiastic about utilizing her diverse background to empower people to live each day to their definition of the fullest. She believes in promoting and helping others practice behaviors that support their wellbeing. Check out our Faculty & Staff Wellness Program video to hear more and see the program in action!

Darcie currently enjoys training for triathlons, playing soccer, lifting, CrossFit, and any water sport! She is excited to be back in her hometown to explore the beauty of Bellingham!
