Swift & Strong Speed Training

Course Description
This class is a great fit for beginner to advanced runners. Wherever you are starting, this class will help you advance your speed technique and acceleration skills in a fun environment.
Swift & Strong Speed class will meet by the track outside the Wade King Recreation Center. The focus of class will be on speed, acceleration and neuromuscular development for running, general sports, and/or keeping up with people younger than you 😊. The class will incorporate speed drills, hills and resistance runs, stairs, shorter sprints, and interval training.
Requirements to take Swift & Strong Speed Training Class:
- Must have a previous workout base of 2 months or more
- Must be able to do stairs
- GPS and/or timing watch recommended
- Layered clothing is recommended
Class will run RAIN OR SHINE, the only thing that will stop us is ice or lightening!
