Swift & Strong Speed Training

Course Description

This class is a great fit for beginner to advanced runners. Wherever you are starting, this class will help you advance your speed technique and acceleration skills in a fun environment.

Swift & Strong Speed class will meet by the track outside the Student Recreation Center. The focus of class will be on speed, acceleration and neuromuscular development for running, general sports, and/or keeping up with people younger than you ðŸ˜Š. The class will incorporate speed drills, hills and resistance runs, stairs, shorter sprints, and interval training.

Requirements to take Swift & Strong Speed Training Class:

  • Must have a previous workout base of 2 months or more
  • Must be able to do stairs
  • GPS and/or timing watch recommended
  • Layered clothing is recommended

Class will run RAIN OR SHINE, the only thing that will stop us is ice or lightening!
