Intro to Climbing

Course Description
This course will introduce new climbers to basic rock climbing techniques, and provide intentional focuses for climbers that want to build their footwork, body positioning, route mapping and basic top rope skills. Each week will have unique focus area. We will combine strength, flexibility and problem solving in a fun way that builds your body and your mind. All rock climbing will be "challenge by choice" where you will choose what is the best option for you. The instructor will help support adaptations that fit your comfort zone.
This course is designed for anyone that ever though "rock climbing sounds fun", even if you "don't have arm strength" (this comes over time). This course will also have layers to challenge climbers that want to become more intentional with their climbing techniques.
